Castle Combe

I recently had a business meeting in the historic and ancient city of Bath. I work for a pharmaceutical company and had to travel from Northumberland. The meeting began at 11 am and was completed in 11.20 am. Short, but fortunately successful. If it was only Monday morning and I don't in London until Tuesday afternoon was expected, I have decided to drive in the Cotswolds.

I pulled my car used cars Dartford in a gas station and bought myself a map of the surroundings. I also used my iphone to have a look at tourist information on the internet. I've found that a place called Castle Combe had recently approved the most beautiful village in the Cotswolds. There was a hotel and a pub, located in the village, so I settled on my trip.

I pulled a very tiny but picturesque village. There is about a population of 350 people. There is a small medieval church and a market cross lies between the three interlinking streets. I saw the pub and decided to pop in for a little drink. Well, I had worked all morning.

The pub dates from the 12th century and retains many of the "Olde world" charm. If I decided it was sunny outside the pub to sitting and watching the world go by.

After two more generous glasses of red, I enjoyed a delicious dinner before relaxing in my big four poster bed! Best of all, I was charging to the company. That is the real value for money.
