Friends like these!

I have the same group of friends since I was at school. Of course I have more people meet when I'm older grown, but the core has remained the same. My group of friends are extremely varied and have a wide range of professions. In order to get through life easier, I believe that everyone has a best friend who has a car-mechanic, doctor, hairdresser and lawyer. Here's why!

I have a friend Jamie who helped me more than once. I have my test at seventeen and I bought an old Nissan Micra. It continually broke, but it was everything that I could afford at the moment. Fortunately, Jamie was always on hand. He recovered my car Jaguar X-Type parts for me on numerous occasions and always fix the car for "mates rates". This usually involved a pint at his locally on the way home.

Fortunately, by the time I was twenty I managed to buy a good car. As I married and had children, Maria Kiernan was my next invaluable friend. She was a doctor. It was like having my own personal service NHS but directly to a doctor. Infact given the amount of times I called her in the middle of the night, I'm surprised that she is still my friend.

Each girl must also be a Barber as a friend, for emergency cases, bad hair days or a last minute date. And finally, lawyers are invaluable for the purchase of home, divorce or other small abrasions that we encounter.

Like the Beatles sang, "I get by with a little help from my friends". So very very true.
